Position Overview

This role is pivotal in providing legal support across the North Central Europe Region, encompassing various countries.

Key Responsibilities

  • Serve as the primary legal advisor for the region, offering comprehensive legal guidance.
  • Assess and negotiate a diverse range of agreements typical in the pharmaceutical sector, including confidentiality, consulting, and supply agreements.
  • Ensure compliance with local laws and regulations while advising on the implications of contractual provisions.
  • Engage in strategic discussions regarding products and partnerships within the region.
  • Participate actively in leadership teams to foster collaboration and drive legal initiatives.
  • Manage existing relationships and resolve contractual disputes in coordination with internal and external legal counsel.
  • Review company operations to ensure adherence to legal and regulatory standards.
  • Contribute to risk management efforts by identifying and mitigating potential legal risks.
  • Oversee external legal counsel and ensure alignment with company objectives.
  • Monitor evolving laws and regulations in the healthcare sector, providing insights for internal training and policy development.
  • Enhance legal processes by developing templates and providing training to improve efficiency.
  • Collaborate closely with various departments, including Ethics and Compliance, to promote a culture of integrity.
  • Provide legal insights on digital initiatives and data protection matters.

Qualifications

  • Minimum of 7 years of legal experience, with a focus on commercial contracts in the life sciences sector.
  • In-house experience or equivalent background in a law firm is essential.
  • Proven ability to identify strategic risks and opportunities.
  • Strong understanding of legal principles across multiple areas, including corporate and regulatory matters.
