Job Title: Key / National Account Manager (Permanent)

The successful candidate will be responsible for managing and developing an assigned merchants portfolio for TFS (Tax Free Shopping), Payment and Post Purchase, with a focus on gaining new business accounts.

Main Responsibilities:
  • Deliver sales targets and new business targets
  • Ensure delivery of account-specific contractual obligations
  • Coordinate sell-out activities with the Performance Manager within assigned accounts
  • Cross-sell Global Blue products to existing accounts
  • Prepare and manage account plans and opportunity pipelines
  • Develop and maintain strong customer relationships
  • Identify and mitigate brick wall accounts against competitors
  • Monitor and manage debt levels of assigned accounts
  • Improve merchants' knowledge and expertise with Global Blue services
  • Utilize CRM to plan, record, and report account-specific activity
  • Ensure timely transmission of market and business information to the organization
Main KPIs:
  • Net Commission for TFS and DCC
  • New business for TFS, DCC, and Media
  • Cross-selling to existing accounts
Requirements:
  • Genuine sales talent with strong results orientation and determination to reach sales targets
  • 3-4 years' experience in account management, ideally in retail or financial services
  • Excellent written and conversational English
  • University graduate preferred

  • Business acumen and commerciality with understanding of the sales cycle

  • Good written and verbal communication and presentation skills

  • Good knowledge of MS Office products
