Sales Director GCC and Government

Main Duties:
- Analysis of local market trends and competitor activity to identify business opportunities.
- Implementation of sales action plans related to market areas.
- Development of customer accounts and travel within the local area to drive business growth.
- Negotiation of room rates and packages with corporate clients.
- Production of accurate and timely reports for the Director of Sales.
- Maintenance of valid call objectives and action plans for key accounts and prospects.
- Proactive prospecting of new accounts for the hotel and follow-up through the sales process.
- Personal responsibility for updating accounts in the system and utilizing its full capacity.
- Maintenance of up-to-date activity and rate information for each account.
- Response to customer queries in a prompt and professional manner.
- Conduct of daily sales calls.
- Understanding and actioning of group and event enquiries.
- Support for the Assistant Sales Manager and Sales Coordinator in their roles.
- Communication of client requirements to internal departments.
- Follow-up and communication with reservations and accounting departments.
- Maintenance of accurate property rates sheets.
- Communication of obstacles to completing action plans to the Director of Sales.
- Arrangement and management of familiarization and educational trips.
- Entertainment of clients and potential clients in hotel outlets.
