Sales Director GCC and Government

Main Duties:

  • Analysis of local market trends and competitor activity to identify business opportunities.
  • Implementation of sales action plans related to market areas.
  • Development of customer accounts and travel within the local area to drive business growth.
  • Negotiation of room rates and packages with corporate clients.
  • Production of accurate and timely reports for the Director of Sales.
  • Maintenance of valid call objectives and action plans for key accounts and prospects.
  • Proactive prospecting of new accounts for the hotel and follow-up through the sales process.
  • Personal responsibility for updating accounts in the system and utilizing its full capacity.
  • Maintenance of up-to-date activity and rate information for each account.
  • Response to customer queries in a prompt and professional manner.
  • Conduct of daily sales calls.
  • Understanding and actioning of group and event enquiries.
  • Support for the Assistant Sales Manager and Sales Coordinator in their roles.
  • Communication of client requirements to internal departments.
  • Follow-up and communication with reservations and accounting departments.
  • Maintenance of accurate property rates sheets.
  • Communication of obstacles to completing action plans to the Director of Sales.
  • Arrangement and management of familiarization and educational trips.
  • Entertainment of clients and potential clients in hotel outlets.
