Job Title: Account Manager - Automotive

Renesas is seeking an experienced Account Manager - Automotive to develop sales and design-in objectives at target accounts in the automotive semiconductor industry. This entails initiating and coordinating global account resources to optimize alignment with the customer, resulting in revenue growth.

The role requires a highly motivated, customer-oriented Account Manager with knowledge of automotive car manufacturers and their tier suppliers.

Your Role:
  1. Develop sales strategies to penetrate targeted application areas.
  2. Convince customers about Renesas solutions through complex evaluation processes.
  3. Achieve tangible design win/win results.
  4. Keep account profiles and make technical presentations to customers.
Business Development:
  1. Set account design-in and revenue goals.
  2. Develop and execute detailed sales strategies driving revenue growth.
  3. Exhibit capabilities to increase the number of new opportunities and drive design-wins for Renesas.
  4. Forecast revenue and design-ins.
  5. Cooperate with other departments and regions to support accounts.
Customer Relationship Development:
  1. Establish contacts at every department and level of customer organization.
  2. Drive relationships between top management.
Reporting:
  1. Report on business development progress, against targets.
  2. Report on mid-term account revenue forecast.
  3. Develop, execute, and review account strategy with management.
Your Profile:
  1. Engineering University Degree - preferably in Electrical Engineering.
  2. Automotive industry experience and a good understanding of automotive requirements.
  3. Ability to develop an account strategy with a clear set of targets, aligned with Renesas' strategy, and plan a course of actions with a constant progress check.
  4. Knowledge of the semiconductor automotive segment, key customers, and their applications is preferred.
  5. Knowledge or past selling experience with MCUs and SoCs is a plus.
  6. Strong interpersonal skills with the ability to interact with customers, internal organization, and management.
  7. Strong communication and teamwork skills.
  8. Agile with every required IT system.
  9. Fluent in French and English.
  10. With a sense of humor.
