Job Description

The Key Account Manager is responsible for driving business growth and development of selected key accounts. This role involves developing and implementing strategies to increase retail sales and financial gains, while enhancing the brand image.

Key Responsibilities
  • Negotiate space and positioning for brick & mortar and E-retail, ensuring personalized experiences for customers.
  • Implement and execute marketing plans according to guidelines and strategy prepared by the Trade Marketing Team.
  • Prepare and negotiate trade and e-trade plans per client to stay ahead of the competition.
  • Forecast new campaigns by client, referencing historical sales and product potential, and collaborate with the supply & demand team.
  • Develop sales, ranking, and market share per door, ensuring optimal product assortment.
  • Analyze sell-out and inventory data to propose re-assortment of basics by line and client.
  • Ensure the right product catalogue is in place, aligned with brand strategy and market needs.
  • Take initiative to develop solutions to issues affecting procedures and brand activities.
  • Follow up on visual merchandising, ensuring brand guidelines are respected and campaigns are executed correctly.
Financial Responsibilities
  • Manage full operational P&L responsibility under Head of Sales supervision.
  • Prepare budgets per account in line with company guidelines.
  • Prepare annual negotiations and analyze profitability of each account to propose smart investment supports.
  • Follow up on sell-out and inventory data for analysis and re-assortment of basics by line and client.
  • Forecast novelties by client and reference, according to historical sales and product potential.
  • Follow up on payments and Days of Sales Outstanding.
  • Ensure sales and marketing activities are carried out within agreed budgets and volumes.
  • Perform productivity analysis per door when possible.
Team Management
  • Directly manage the Trade and Key Account Assistant (intern).
  • Collaborate closely with the Trade Marketing team.
  • Analyze profitability of each account to propose smart investment supports.
  • Act as liaison between retailers and internal teams, providing trustworthy feedback.
