About the Role

The Senior Account Manager Germany is responsible for selling Alcatel-Lucent Enterprise products and services to existing and new key accounts, developing accounts through partners in the indirect sales model to maximize value delivery. This role focuses on acquiring new customers and gaining market share.

Key Responsibilities
  • Implement sales strategy defined by sales management to ensure sales targets are met or exceeded.
  • Maintain and develop existing clients to a converged and cloud product portfolio.
  • Sell converged portfolio and cloud to new accounts in the vertical market to fulfill turnover objectives.
  • Build strong relationships with partner sales representatives.
  • Ensure a strong focus on creating new business by knowing sales instruments to create pipeline.
  • Maintain Alcatel-Lucent Enterprise branding in the vertical marketplace by creating references with end customers to help partners turn customer relationships into long-term partnerships.
  • Develop and deliver accurate sales forecasts in line with business objectives, requiring accurate business planning and reporting.
  • Expertise and experience in dealing with mid and large accounts at senior IT and business levels.
  • Technical or specific skills, behavior, or education/experience.
  • Demonstrate a track record of successful sales in the voice/data/networking/cloud industry with accounts or territories.
  • Completed formal training in sales techniques, especially in acquisition skills.
  • Strong focus on making a difference through translating product features into customer values.
  • Knowledge of the Swedish market with existing relationships.
  • Ability to network within a customer and partner organization to identify key influencers and decision makers.
  • Commercial focus and negotiation skills.
  • CRM tool experience (preferably).
  • Fluent German and English.
Requirements
  • At least 4 years of experience in the telecommunications and networking industry with key accounts.
  • Proven track record of successful sales.
  • Completed formal training in sales techniques or equivalent by hunting new business experience.
  • Solid knowledge of the transport market with existing relationships.
  • Ability to network within a customer and partner organization to identify key influencers and decision makers.
  • Native German speaker and fluent in English.
