We are seeking a highly skilled Regional Key Account Manager to join our team at Rhenus Logistics. As a key member of our sales team, you will be responsible for developing and growing key accounts in Europe, driving business success and financial growth.

Key Responsibilities
  • Collaborate with the Country Sales Network and internal stakeholders to evaluate, manage, and enhance business relationships.
  • Develop and grow both new and existing key accounts to drive business success.
  • Responsible for the financial development and volume growth of assigned key accounts on a regional level.
  • Obtain an in-depth understanding of the key account program, including definition, criteria, and targets.
  • Acquire an overall understanding of the KAM mindset to be adaptable to the regional KAM culture.
  • Responsible for working out high-quality executive summaries visualizing key accounts' global supply chain visibility, identifying competition landscape, and setting up appropriate commercial tactics.
  • Proactively seeking out and identifying value fitting into both Rhenus and key accounts to optimize customers' global supply chain process in pursuit of long-term partnership.
  • Ensure quarterly business reviews with key accounts happen as needed.
  • Ensure key accounts are properly managed in CRM and TMS.
  • Independently drive to serve as the link between key accounts and internal matrix stakeholders, achieving ultimate targets.
Requirements
  • Over 3 years of experience in the freight forwarding industry, especially air and ocean freight.
  • Demonstrable experience/success in sales and providing logistic solutions based on customer needs.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills with aptitude in building relationships with professionals of all organizational levels.
  • BSc/BA in business administration, sales, or a relevant field.
  • Willingness to travel internationally and fluency in written and spoken English.
  • Strong convincing, negotiation, and influencing skills.
  • Ability to thrive in an ambiguous and fast-growing environment.
  • Ability to drive in a synergistic environment.
