Role Summary

As a Finance Business Partner, you will play a pivotal role in driving the commercial success of Novo Nordisk France. Your responsibilities will include defining, executing, and overseeing essential business processes and frameworks within the Business Finance Department. Your key responsibilities will encompass:

  • Serving as a vital Finance business partner, delivering timely business analysis, insights, and decision-making support to the leadership team in France. You will cultivate and sustain robust relationships at a global scale to ensure effective collaboration and alignment of financial strategies.
  • Leading the budgeting process, which includes establishing assumptions, forecasting, scenario planning, and preparing for new product launches.
  • Spearheading performance enhancements to unlock productivity and expedite execution, providing valuable insights to the business through analytics and market research as necessary. This will involve supporting key stakeholders in driving performance within the therapeutic areas you will oversee.
  • Creating and maintaining forecasting models for sales, costs, and market share for the French Affiliate, with a specific focus on one of the therapy areas.
  • Ensuring adherence to Novo Nordisk systems and policies while maintaining robust financial operations through timely and high-quality management reporting.

Required Qualifications

To excel in this position, you should possess:

  • A Master's or graduate degree in Finance, Economics, Business, or related fields.
  • 4-5 years of experience in financial planning and/or business analysis, preferably within the French pharmaceutical sector.
  • Exceptional communication and presentation skills, with the capability to engage stakeholders across various levels of seniority. A solid understanding of sales, finance, marketing, business development, and market access is essential.
  • Proficiency in English, both written and spoken; knowledge of French would be advantageous.
  • Advanced proficiency in Excel and PowerPoint, along with a working knowledge of SAP. Familiarity with PowerBI is also desirable.

Department Overview

You will be part of our Business Finance Department, which consists of two Finance Business Partners and two interns. Reporting to the Business Finance Manager, you will primarily collaborate with stakeholders from the French affiliate, including the leadership team, while also engaging with colleagues at the regional level to share best practices and align on strategic initiatives.
