Project Manager for Industrialization

Verkor is a pioneering French industrial enterprise dedicated to advancing low-carbon battery production within France. Supported by leading industrial firms, our mission is to transform the landscape of European mobility through electrification.
Our team comprises over 350 professionals from 38 diverse nations, collaborating to realize this ambitious and innovative initiative. With our headquarters in Grenoble, we have recently launched our Verkor Innovation Centre, which serves as both a research and development hub and a 4.0 pilot line.
Currently, we are focused on constructing the most advanced and efficient Gigafactory in Dunkirk, aiming for an initial annual output of 16 GWh of lithium-ion batteries by 2025, sufficient to power 300,000 electric vehicles each year.
Role OverviewThe Project Manager for Industrialization will oversee engineering project deliveries, ensuring they meet timelines, budget constraints, and quality standards while adhering to safety protocols. This position requires a cross-functional approach, aligning project objectives with the strategic goals of the organization and the needs of our clients.
Qualifications- Bachelor's degree in Engineering or a related field
- Formal training in Project Management
- Minimum of 8 years of project management experience in industrial settings
- Familiarity with Construction, Supply Chain Management, Procurement, Engineering, and Manufacturing
- Technical knowledge of Li-ion Cell and module design is advantageous
- Experience in the Automotive sector or as a supplier is preferred
- Exceptional skills in stakeholder management, collaboration, and communication
- Comfortable working in a multicultural environment
- Proficient in written and spoken English
- Ability to communicate in French
- Strong communicator with internal and external cross-functional teams
- Capable of prioritizing and managing time-sensitive and complex situations
- Execution-oriented with a pragmatic approach to problem-solving
- Adept at navigating environments characterized by volatility, uncertainty, complexity, and ambiguity
- Excellent interpersonal skills, driven by passion for the project and mission
- Proficient in MS Office and skilled in delivering presentations
