To support this mission, we're seeking an experienced and driven Major Account Manager based in France.

Responsibilities:

  • Develop new business opportunities across Enterprise Industry segments in the French market.
  • Build and maintain strong relationships with 4-5 key Large accounts.
  • Deliver on visionary license, support, and service revenue quotas on a quarterly and yearly basis.
  • Collaborate with our Channel Manager and Partners for the region, working in harmony with our partners and distributor.
  • Partner with different Splunkers to reach maximum account penetration, focusing on account planning and opportunity management.
  • Optimize pipeline and forecasts with our EMEA sales ops team, reporting on a monthly and quarterly basis.
  • Negotiate pricing and business terms with large commercial enterprises, emphasizing Splunk's value proposition.
  • Work closely with our sales engineering and professional services teams, as well as partner services resources, to position Splunk's offering effectively in the market.
  • Apply our MEDDIC sales methodology and processes to support success from prospect to closure.
  • Represent the Splunk brand as a strong ambassador through internal and external interactions.

Requirements:

  • Substantial Enterprise Software selling experience with large major accounts in France.
  • A strong hunting mentality, with the ability to confidently close new business.
  • Strong executive presence and polish, comfortable working at the C Suite level.
  • Understanding of the importance of forecasting commitments and forecasting accuracy.
  • Outstanding time management, interpersonal, written, and presentation skills.
  • Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, high-growth environment.
  • Experience navigating CRM systems extensively.
  • A consistent track record of sales success and knowledge of prospects and customers in the French territory.
  • Fluent French and English language skills.
  • Education: Minimum of a Bachelor's degree; MBA a plus.
