Job Summary

InterSystems is seeking a highly motivated and results-driven Business Development Manager to implement a strategy aimed at promoting our healthcare-focused products and solutions. The ideal candidate will be responsible for developing relationships with solution partners and end-clients to identify potential opportunities for InterSystems TrakCare, HealthShare, and IRIS for Health.

Key Responsibilities

  • Opportunity Identification and Development
    • Discover, qualify, and develop opportunities for InterSystems TrakCare, HealthShare, and IRIS for Health.
    • Primary goal is to secure new contracts and build mutually beneficial long-term relationships with clients and partners.
  • Strategic Partnership Development
    • Regularly meet with senior executives (DG Hôpitaux) to identify strategic and tactical opportunities, detailing problems to be solved.
    • Ensure primary liaison between InterSystems and the client; develop and improve commercial relationships by providing high levels of service and encouraging contacts with accounts at various levels of the organization; develop and update account profiles continuously.
  • Business Development and Growth
    • Work with sales engineering, sales support, and technical teams to provide compelling proposals to clients.
    • Develop effective prospecting strategies to target new clients, identifying needs and areas where our solutions can bring value.
    • Leverage existing clients and reference sites to support new client prospecting campaigns.
    • Stay up-to-date with industry trends and technological advancements.
    • Collaborate with internal stakeholders (technical, marketing, and commercial teams) to develop convincing solutions for current and potential clients of our healthcare products and solutions.

Requirements

  • 2-5 years of sales experience with above-average results.
  • Demonstrated experience in acquiring new clients and developing long-term partnership relationships.
  • Hunter profile with proven track record of increasing revenue through new client acquisition via clients and/or partners.
  • Proven experience in selling software technology solutions.
  • Confirmed 'closer' able to secure commitment at each stage of the sales process.
  • A self-motivated, autonomous individual capable of engaging with prospects and clients at all levels.
  • Sufficient technical aptitude to engage with clients and prospects on system integrations.
  • Able to quickly learn one or more new software products and communicate the value proposition clearly.
  • Excellent listening, writing, and communication skills.
  • Able to deliver effective presentations at a director level.
  • A meticulous, structured, and analytical person accustomed to getting involved in the details of their activity.
  • A strong team player, working with commercial and technical colleagues to implement solutions that meet client needs.
  • A genuine interest and curiosity in software in the healthcare sector (ours and others).
  • Established relationships with contacts/partners and potential clients. A plus
