Job Purpose:
The Strategic Revenue Management Specialist plays a pivotal role within our Commercial Organization, reporting directly to the Director of Centers of Excellence (COEs). This position is responsible for spearheading sustainable revenue management (SRM) strategies and initiatives aimed at optimizing profitability across various business units. As a Strategic Revenue Management Specialist, you will work collaboratively with cross-functional teams to design and implement revenue management strategies, pricing frameworks, and data-driven insights to fulfill business objectives.
Key Responsibilities:
- Facilitates change management and enhances the Revenue Management capabilities within the workstream in CE.
- Formulates McCain's CE SRM strategy – Adapt regional SRM goals into specific strategies for channels and segments.
- Acts as the CE project lead for in-depth pricing analyses and identifying value leakage throughout McCain's commercial processes, engaging key stakeholders across the region while guiding sales teams.
- Collaborates with regional sales units on the significance of pricing and promotions within the business across QSR, Food Service, and Retail sectors.
- Evaluates market trends, assesses industry best practices, competitive landscapes, and customer behaviors to uncover revenue growth opportunities and potential risks.
- Assists sales, marketing, and finance teams in developing and executing price pack architecture based on product characteristics.
- Aids sales teams in crafting and implementing trade strategies centered on customer value and performance.
- Reviews current trade expenditures, assesses investment impacts, and optimizes trade spending to advance McCain's commercial objectives.
- Monitors and provides insights on regional portfolios to ensure an optimized portfolio, preventing SKU proliferation.
- Collaborates with Sales, Marketing, Finance, and Operations teams to align revenue management strategies with overarching business goals and objectives.
- Tracks key performance indicators (KPIs) and financial metrics to evaluate revenue performance and pinpoint areas for enhancement.
- Prepares and presents reports, insights, and recommendations to senior management and key stakeholders (Global/Regional).
About You:
- Bachelor's degree in Business, Finance, Economics, or a related field. A Master's degree is preferred.
- 8+ years of experience in Commercial roles, preferably within the Food Industry.
- 2+ years of experience in revenue management, pricing analysis, or similar positions.
- Strong analytical capabilities with expertise in data analysis and financial modeling.
- Familiarity with revenue management software and tools is advantageous.
- Strategic thinker with the ability to critically analyze and devise innovative solutions to complex business challenges.
- Results-driven with a strong emphasis on fostering revenue growth and achieving business objectives.
- Excellent problem-solving abilities and data-informed decision-making skills.
- Proficient in English (both written and spoken).
