As a member of the technology division at Doctolib, you will engage in the development of cutting-edge products and functionalities aimed at enhancing the experiences of healthcare professionals and patients alike. Our teams operate in an agile framework, collaborating closely with product, design, and business units.

We are in search of a new Technical Team Leader to join our Engineering Enablement (EE) division. The mission of Engineering Enablement is to support Doctolib's technical teams (over 70 feature teams) in delivering high-quality products efficiently. To fulfill this mission, EE offers expertise, methodologies, tools, and services, including CI/CD systems, throughout the delivery lifecycle.

Your Responsibilities

In this dual role as a technical authority and team manager, you will mentor and develop your team members while fostering an exceptional engineering culture at Doctolib. Your key responsibilities will include:

  • Overseeing a team of site reliability engineers and software developers;
  • Enhancing the performance and career growth of your team;
  • Ensuring that team objectives align with business goals by driving individual performance;
  • Empowering your team to create superior products;
  • Establishing the strategic direction for your team, taking full ownership of production, quality, and delivery;
  • Leading cross-functional initiatives to elevate our engineering capabilities;
  • Demonstrating strong technical expertise with a history of developing complex systems across multiple products and countries;
  • Having proven experience in creating efficient, maintainable, and secure products;
  • Collaborating with Talent & People teams to attract, develop, and retain top talent.

You might be the ideal candidate if you:

  • Possess a minimum of 8 years of software engineering experience, including at least 3 years in a managerial role with an engineering team;
  • Have knowledge across various domains, including infrastructure (AWS, K8S, Terraform, etc.), CI/CD systems (GitHub Actions, etc.), and development tools for diverse stacks (Ruby, Typescript, Java, etc.);
  • Recognize the importance of testing your code, whether individually or functionally, for each new feature or bug fix;
  • Can adapt to the most effective technologies to resolve challenges;
  • Have a track record of developing efficient, maintainable, and secure products;
  • Are comfortable communicating in English on a daily basis with your team.

Additional Qualifications

  • Experience in a fast-paced tech environment;
  • A solid understanding of cloud infrastructure and security issues;
  • Experience managing teams focused on Platform Engineering;
  • A passion for enabling developers.
