As a key member of our team at Les Jardins d'Arcadie, the Front Desk Coordinator plays a vital role in building strong relationships with our residents, their families, and other stakeholders.

Mission Statement

The Front Desk Coordinator is responsible for providing exceptional customer service, ensuring the smooth operation of our residence, and contributing to a warm and welcoming environment for our residents.

Key Responsibilities

  • Customer Service
    • Manage the front desk and handle incoming calls, inquiries, and requests from residents, families, and visitors.
    • Provide assistance with daily tasks, such as mail distribution, package delivery, and resident information.
  • Residence Operations
    • Coordinate and implement daily activities, events, and programs for residents, including entertainment, educational, and recreational activities.
    • Collaborate with other departments to ensure seamless communication and service delivery.
  • Team Collaboration
    • Work closely with the residence team to achieve common goals and objectives.
    • Participate in regular meetings and training sessions to stay informed about residence policies, procedures, and best practices.

Requirements

  • Education and Experience
    • Post-secondary education in a related field, such as hospitality, tourism, or customer service.
    • Previous experience in a customer-facing role, preferably in a senior care or hospitality setting.
  • Skills and Abilities
    • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
    • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
    • Strong problem-solving and conflict resolution skills.
    • Proficiency in computer software and technology.
