Regional Broadband Sales and Growth Director

At Harmonic, Inc., we are seeking a seasoned professional to lead our Regional Broadband Sales efforts in Southern and parts of Western Europe. This strategic role involves business development and growth of our Fiber/PON and Broadband Solutions.

The ideal candidate will possess strong relationships with senior-level business and technical executives in the region, with a proven track record of developing and maintaining these relationships.

This position requires a consultative sales approach, excellent communication and interpersonal skills, and the ability to effectively comprehend, analyze, and resolve sales situations within the construct of strategic accounts.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Develop direct relationships with existing and new key accounts in Southern and parts of Western Europe.
  • Identify, qualify, and close new business opportunities with existing strategic key accounts in the region.
  • Manage and develop the direct or indirect sales strategy for identified solutions, aligned to Harmonic's Go-To-Market model and strategy.
  • Establish and/or develop strong relationships with existing or new Harmonic Resellers to cooperate on identified business opportunities.
  • Promote internally and externally knowledge base of Harmonic's Fiber/PON products, solutions, and services to support assigned market sector(s).
Requirements:
  • Demonstrable experience in regional sales management and/or business development roles acquired in the Fiber/PON and Broadband market sectors.
  • Understanding of and ability to succinctly articulate current strategic needs of Harmonic's customers in nominated accounts.
  • Significant market contacts, technical knowledge, and experience selling Broadband access (Fiber/PON and DOCSIS) solutions with target account(s), including VOO, Altice, and Iliad.
  • Proven background in developing relationships with key decision-makers and influencers.
  • Experience in closing large technology deals.
  • Broadband Access and Fiber/PON knowledge and proven sales experience.
  • Creativity in developing tactical sales positioning and solution selling methods to suit demanding sales situations.
Salary:

Estimated salary: $120,000 - $150,000 per annum, depending on qualifications and experience.
