At Questel, we provide technology-driven solutions and software to facilitate the development of innovation in an efficient, secure, and sustainable way. As an integral part of Questel's Business Development Team based in Paris office, you will be responsible for strategic and operational business development.

Principal Duties & Responsibilities:

- Build and cultivate professional relationships with C-level executives by initiating communications and conducting follow-up communications in order to create new opportunities
- Map the territories / accounts for prospective sales leads
- Work jointly with management to define phone and mail pitches for each ideal customer profile in the IP industry
- Build individual strategic business plans to penetrate accounts in each territory
- Follow-up on Questel events and communications (webinars, newsletters, whitepapers, etc.)
- Work closely with sales managers to define evolving priorities
- Collaborate with the marketing team to drive social media activities across the sales team to identify prospects
- Work on special projects and other duties as assigned by management

Qualifications & Skills:
Education and Experience: Bachelor's degree or equivalent work experience with inside sales and / or cold calling required. In addition, any combination of education, professional experience, and training provides the following knowledge, skills, and abilities:

- Excellent analytical, written and verbal communication skills
- Ability to assess customer needs and present solutions
- Ability to work independently with mínimal supervision and regularly report on progress
- Experience with CRM software preferred
- Highly motivated with a willingness to take initiative and complete assignments, driven by results and ambitious to surpass the set objectives.
- Willing to participate in a culture of responsiveness to strengthen relationships and ensure the needs and time of others are met and respected
- Fluent in English and/or German, French
