**Original Equipment Manufacturer (OEM) Key Account Manager 80-100%**

**What you will do**

In this challenging role within our Partnering Business (PB) division you are responsible for finding and engaging with new prospects as well as assigned key customers within the assigned region for the purpose of driving new OEM business opportunities. The Key Account Manager will engage with these accounts with the goal of developing relationships within the accounts and driving profitable growth.

**Responsibilities will include**
- Operate at a strategic level and understand structure, strategy, product gaps and product roadmap of existing
- or prospective assigned key accounts
- Closely follow Tecan Sales process including quoting, business canvas process including market, company and NPV analysis
- Meets or exceeds set performance incentives which include sales budget attainment, opportunity development and other similar financial goals.
- Negotiates and administers contracts in conjunction with the sales and marketing leadership.
- Responds to and resolves customer complaints or problems that arise, by personal action.
- Works closely with other areas of the Tecan team to create synergies across the business by developing and executing key account strategies.

**What you bring along**
- Bachelor’s degree or equivalent in Engineering or Business.
- Proven track record with a minimum of 3 years field sales experience in B2B sales in OEM IVD, medical device, or design services market a must.
- Experience executing large OEM customer account strategies.
- Extensive experience with electromechanical devices is required. Electrical engineering or Systems engineering preferred.
- Fluent in English, additional languages such as German and French a plus.
