**Missions et responsabilités**
The **Technology and Industrial Performance** (TIP) Department as a central team in charge of Industrial Performance roadmap, standards and benchmarking, R&D programs (Products and Process) for Construction, Strategic Investments, Capacity Allocation among countries and Excellence Programs, is looking for a **Friendly Glass Wool Industrialization Project Leader **to contribute in key products and process developments to deploy an **innovative green binder with positive impact on non-renewable materials consumption and comfort of use**. The job involves collaborating with multiple stakeholders (plants, marketing & sales, R&D centers, purchasing) on highly technical topics such as chemistry of binders and physics of wool forming.
Under the responsibility of the “circularity and green binders” programs director, you will **be in charge of supporting the local teams in each European plant** to achieve the industrial conversion from phenolic to bio-sourced resins used in our process as fibers binders. In this role
- You will support the plants in the preparation and the realization of the preliminary industrial trials required for products and process qualification.
- You will collaborate with local teams to anticipate potential gaps and failures, and identify solutions to mitigate those risks.
- You will support the local teams in the analysis and conclusions of the trials and participate to the local projects steering committees.
- You will provide technical assistance and recommendations to the plants during their deployment, in order to address potential issues with best practices collected from other plants.
- You will collect all the know-how acquired during those tests and share ‘best practices” with production teams among the business.
**Profil recherché** Who we are looking for**
- An engineer with experience in process engineering
- A previous experience with operational teams in production management or industrial development is required
- Appreciated knowledge of thermal and mechanical materials (fibrous)
**Competences required**
- Autonomous, with a good sense of experimentation, skills in data processing and scientific rigor
- Results-driven with capacity for proposals and cost/time optimization solutions
- Good communication and interpersonal skills, for teamwork in an international and multicultural context.
- Fluent English required
**Description additionnelle (contexte, évolution...)**
Job is based at the Saint-Gobain headquarters in La Défense, with regular trips in Europe to support the plants (1 to 3 days trip, every 1 or 2 week) and regular visits to Isover Research Center in Rantigny (40 min train from Paris, every week). Home Office is possible for 1-2 days a week.
