As part of its development strategy, RATP Dev is positioning itself on the Operations & Maintenance of the Belgrade Metro project. The commercial opening of Line 1 is scheduled for 2030, with two additional lines planned in the following years. From 2026 onward, RATP Dev will contribute to project integration and lead the opening preparations for Line 1.MAIN PURPOSE

The System Interface Manager is responsible for ensuring that all interfaces between the Operations & Maintenance (O&M) systems and other subsystems are effectively implemented and managed during the D&C phase. This includes contributing to interface definition, verification and validation, and ensuring that all interface-related risks are identified, tracked, and mitigated in alignment with project milestones and operational requirements.

RESPONSIBILITIES

As part of their role, the System Interface Manager will be expected to carry out the following activities to ensure effective interface coordination and system integration:

General


• Support the implementation of safety, security, and system assurance processes defined by RDSerbia


• Contribute to risk and interface management planning


• Participate in the development of interface and configuration management plans


• Support the implementation of the Document Management System

Interface Management


• Contribute to the interface management process and V&V activities (gate reviews, milestones, evidence collection)


• Review and assess interface definitions, matrices, roles, and responsibilities


• Monitor interface development progress and ensure alignment with project milestones


• Review and validate interface verification and validation plans


• Support test and commissioning activities related to interface validation

Interface Development


• Identify and classify all internal and external interfaces (mechanical, electrical, software, organizational)


• Establish and maintain interface control documents (ICDs), registers, and logs


• Facilitate regular coordination meetings between interfacing parties


• Ensure traceability of changes and decisions across systems


• Monitor interface-related risks and develop mitigation strategies

EXPERIENCE & SKILLS


• Minimum 5 years of experience in the railway sector, ideally with exposure to driverless metro systems


• Proven experience in interface management, verification and validation, and system integration


• Strong understanding of RAMS principles and interface risk management


• Experience working with multidisciplinary teams and managing complex system interactions


• Excellent communication and coordination skills with internal and external stakeholders


• Familiarity with configuration management and document control systems

QUALIFICATION


• Degree in Engineering or B.Sc./M.Sc. in Physics, Electronics, Power Supply, or Computer Science


• Knowledge of EN50126:2017 and ISO 50216 standards


• Understanding of interface management frameworks for major rail infrastructure projects


• Experience with system engineering and assurance processes in railway environments
