Job Description
The Events Sales Executive is responsible for maximizing total revenue potential for the Hotel across the Conference & Events market segments with a focus on the acquisition of new business. You will build and maintain strong relationships with conference bookers, ensuring every event is a success.
You will:
Handle incoming event leads professionally through all channels. Provide detailed conference and events proposals covering venue, function, menu and accommodation costs ensuring revenue is maximized. Coordinate and host familiarisation and site inspections. Assist in coordinating sales forecasts and provide suggestions on strategies to achieve targets. Update and maintain accurate account profiles in the database systems. Prepare and deliver event information to event coordinators, ensuring accuracy of information. Ensure success in delivering customer events in order to ensure client satisfaction and repeat business.Qualifications
You will possess:
1 to 2 years’ experience within the Conference & Events sector in a sales role. Strong focus and passion for hotel operations and delivering exceptional customer experiences. Ability to work independently and demonstrated initiative in a dynamic environment. Confident and articulate communication, negotiation, relationship and networking skills. Time management skills with the ability to multitask.Additional Information
