About the role

Warranty and Service Programs provides insurance solutions for large organizations such are manufacturers, retailers, telecom operators & financial institutions who are looking to offer tailor made insurance products to their customers.

The Regional Business Development Manager Warranty and Service programs will be responsible for the achievement of ambitious profitable growth objectives through the strategic development of new business opportunities in line with AIG’s risk appetite.  

You will define and implement the EMEA sales strategy to increase our market share, focusing on large EU-based manufacturers, retailers, telecom operators & financial institutions.  

What you need to know

The Regional Business Development Manager Warranty and Service programs will:

  • Determine clear business development strategies outlining short-, medium- and longer-term opportunities for growth.

  • Drive a strong pipeline of new opportunities that meet AIG’s risk appetite and profitability targets focusing on large EMEA-based corporates in selected industries, looking to implement insurance and service programs in multiple counties.

  • Drive ambitious top line and bottom-line growth of the WSP product line in close collaboration with multiple internal and external stakeholders across EMEA.

  • Represent AIG’s Warranty & Service Program on the market with key clients and brokers as an ambassador for product innovation, including the participation as a speaker to conferences.

What we’re looking for:

As the Regional Business Development Manager Warranty and Service programs will have:

  • A proven track record of delivering profitable growth in a sizable and relevant general insurance product line across EMEA markets.

  • A proven track record of successful pipeline development in Affinity/ Warranty Service Programs industry across EMEA markets.

  • Strong sales/relationship management, business development (Hunting) experience.

  • Good understanding of industry specific business issues and drivers

  • Track record of interacting and building relationship with C-level clients.

  • Strong Interpersonal, communication and presentation skills.

  • Demonstrated ability to work across interdisciplinary teams that are geographically dispersed.

  • A tertiary qualification/degree in a business discipline along insurance qualifications.

  • Fluent English as main working language. A second European language would be appreciated (Italian, Spanish, French).

Le Responsable du Développement Commercial Affinitaire EMEA (H/F) sera responsable de la réalisation d'objectifs ambitieux de croissance rentable par le biais du développement stratégique de nouvelles opportunités commerciales en accord avec les appétits de souscription d'AIG.


Vous définirez et mettrez en œuvre la stratégie commerciale de la région EMEA afin d'accroître notre part de marché, en vous concentrant sur les grands fabricants, les distributeurs, les opérateurs de télécommunications et les institutions financières basés dans l'UE.


Ce que vous devez savoir :
Le Responsable du Développement Commercial Affinitaire EMEA (H/F) aura pour missions principales :

  • Déterminer des stratégies claires de développement commercial en identifiant les opportunités de croissance à court, moyen et long terme.

  • Développer un pipeline de nouvelles opportunités qui répondent aux appétits de souscription et aux objectifs de rentabilité d'AIG, en vous concentrant sur les grandes entreprises basées dans la région EMEA, dans des secteurs sélectionnés, qui cherchent à mettre en œuvre des programmes d'assurance affinitaires dans plusieurs pays.

  • Être le moteur de la croissance du chiffre d’affaires et des résultats, en collaboration avec l’ensemble des parties prenantes internes et externes au sein de la région EMEA.

  • Être l’ambassadeur d’AIG sur le marché auprès des principaux clients et courtiers. Positionner AIG comme un acteur de l’innovation produit en Europe, y compris en participant à des conférences en tant qu’orateur.

Le profil de notre candidat.e idéal.e

  • Une expérience confirmée de développement rentable d'une ligne de produits au sein d’une compagnie d'assurance ou d’un courtier sur un périmètre d’activité similaire en Europe.

  • Une expérience réussie dans le développement d'un pipeline affinitaire sur les marchés de la région EMEA.

  • Solide expérience commerciale, de la gestion des relations client et du développement commercial (chasse).

  • Bonne compréhension des enjeux spécifiques des secteurs d’activités concernées.

  • Expérience de l'interaction et de l'établissement de relations avec le comité direction de nos clients et prospects (C-level)

  • Faire preuve de qualités interpersonnelles, de communication et de présentation.

  • Capacité avérée à travailler au sein d'équipes interdisciplinaires dispersées géographiquement.

  • Diplômé.e d’une école de commerce, avec idéalement une qualification en assurance.

  • Anglais courant, comme langue principale de travail. Une seconde langue européenne serait appréciée (italien, espagnol, français).
