We are very excited to have been retained by our client to search for a newly created strategic role within their ecosystem – Partnership Account Manager. Based in Europe, this role will lead the partnership and activation for a newly onboarded prestigious Financial Service Institution, based in Africa. We are seeking an experienced strategic partner manager to rapidly develop revenue with a focus on penetration and expansion within their customer bases and penetration of new lines of business within our partners, increasing the strategic relevance of our client to their partner. Our client is a Marine World Championship, who is pursuing relentless innovation, marine preservation, and exhilarating races converge, as their underpinning ethos. They are transcending traditional racing, championing a vision of revolutionising marine transportation. Interestingly, we are seeking a Partnership Account Manager, with a Banking/Finance background, who has a passion for sports, but has spent or built their career within financial institutions across the African Continent.
Responsibilities:
- Strategic Account Management: Develop new revenue with a newly activated client and the ability to rapidly understand both our and their business models is critical to align our solutions with their objectives rapidly.
- Cadence: Establish appropriate cadences with key stakeholders, increasingly bringing in executives to support the development and roll-out of win-win revenue plays. You will establish clear targets and KPIs in support of these objectives.
- Collaboration: You will be the sole owner of these accounts, leveraging support from across the organisation in the design, implementation and execution of repeatable new revenue streams
- Enablement & Activation: You will ensure the partner is fully equipped with enough detail to best represent us within their service offerings to their customers and that they regularly utilise our collaterals, marketing cadence and best practices to ensure continuity of revenue.
- Market Growth: the partner is today operating with us predominantly across African but is seeking to operating globally. you will be responsible for identifying and prioritising engagement aligned to the broader company's international strategy.
- Contract Negotiation and Execution: You will have experience negotiating and implementing new agreements, the ability to rapidly understand commercial models of the partner and the end customer and effectively identify win-win agreements for both organisations, in line with the company growth and profitability objectives.
Experience:
- Solid experience of Partnerships Account Management across the Africa Continent within Banking or Financial Services.
- A significant appreciation of African cultural nuisances.
- Fluent French & English language skills, essential.Demonstrated success in hitting sales goals in a previous partnership, account managements roles, across African Financial Service organisations.
- Strategic thinker with a proactive approach, capable of handling multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment. Must be detail-oriented and have a strong focus on achieving client satisfaction and driving sales growth.
- A solid track record of operating and building relationships at senior level/executive-level within Banking and Financial Services.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, excellent interpersonal and communication skills, proficient in contract negotiation, and adept at project management.
