Reporting to the Sales Manager, you will be responsible for developing sales to OEM customers, by proposing an appropriate commercial offer to meet their needs in terms of LV motors, PLCs and Drives. You will develop a customer portfolio in the Hauts de France and Nord IDF regions.
**Your responsibilities**:
- Sell products/systems to customers, focusing on volume, product mix and profitability targets for business units/product groups.
- Establish and maintain effective relationships with customers to understand their needs, promote the complete offering of products, systems and services, and provide an appropriate solution.
- Ensure a positive customer experience throughout the sales process.
- Prepare sales plans using company tools.
- Carry out regular reviews of the situation and propose one or more action plans in the event of a drop in orders.
- Create added value for the customer and ABB and ensure the success of transactions, contracts and proposals using effective sales techniques.
- Communicate details in line with ABB's offer and strategy (delivery times, payments and terms and conditions).
- Identify and drive the development of new opportunities in the target market, collaborating across the organization and ensuring the sharing of know-how.
- Manage administrative procedures as part of the sales process, and support collections and project management activities where necessary.
- Prepare quotations in coordination with the costing department and/or the marketing manager.
**Your background**:
- Ideally with a 2/3-year higher education qualification, you have successful experience in selling drive products (motors, variators) to industry.
- Knowledge of major OEMs and industrial distributors.
- Commercial flair, autonomy, adaptability, responsiveness, dynamism, ability to listen, creativity.
- Strong awareness of Health, Safety and Environment (HSE) regulations: HSE is everybody's business.
