Semble is the fastest growing all-in-one clinical system in the UK private healthcare market. Since 2019, we’ve been disrupting an industry plagued by old tech, manual processes and an over-reliance on paper.
In the UK, we’re the market leader in primary care and over 6m patients have now seen a clinician who uses Semble.
We’re preparing the next major milestone for Semble, our launch into France, our first market outside the UK.
The French market is ripe for disruption and faces many of the same challenges as the UK. The software offering is also fragmented, with healthcare professionals forced to use multiple outdated systems to carry out their job and unable to collaborate around a shared medical record within a multi-disciplinary setting.
We’re currently co-building our offering for France with a community of medical practitioners eager for change. As such we’re hiring for a pivotal role at Semble, our Sales Director who will lead the charge selling into the French market.
**About your new role**
We’re looking for an exceptional person, with a broad skillset. Someone who is highly entrepreneurial and has operated as the first boots on the ground salesperson, able to find the path and define the playbook. You’ll have experience selling a complex product into a vertical market and will be well versed in an established sales methodology.
You’ll be responsible for acquiring our first customers in France and working hand-in-hand with our product manager and wider team to help define and refine our product offering in France. You’ll be responsible for generating initial traction and getting us to full go-to-market fit, preparing us for scale in a secondary phase.
You need to be highly motivated to build your own pipeline, with no fear of relentless cold calling, and country-wide travel, particularly in the early days.
You’ll be working closely with our Internationalisation team, which includes our co-founders, VP of Product, VP of People, Product Manager, and Chief Revenue Officer.
This is a potential career defining role with the opportunity to help steer the international growth journey of one of Europe’s future health tech giants.
As a career path, this position can evolve into a head of country role or one of the most senior individual contributor positions within our commercial team, gradually taking us up-market, following a similar path to the one we are treading in the UK.
**About you**
- You’ve consistently been in the top 5% of salespeople in your recent roles
- You have experience selling a complex and mission critical software product into a vertical market
- You’ve successfully sold to multi-stakeholder accounts
- You’re proficient in a recognised sales and qualification methodology
- You’re 100% fluent in French language and have a high degree of business fluency in English
- You have an entrepreneurial mindset: ideally you have already worked on the opening of the French market for a foreign company
- You have experience working in the French healthcare/healthtech market
**What you’ll get in return**
- 65.000€ - 80.000€ base salary (based on your experience and the value you can bring) and 50.000€ on target variable pay (uncapped)
