**Position summary**:
Platform.sh is seeking an **apprentice for the position of Accountant - AP at the BTS or Bac2+ level. **As an apprentice, you will report to our Senior General Accounting Specialist, within a dynamic finance team. The opportunity offers exposure to an international and scaling environment, providing support to our entities all around the world.
The apprenticeship program is based onsite in Paris (France) and has a duration is one year, with the potential for a two-year extension. The remuneration for this position is aligned with the salary stipulated in the Apprenticeship contract.
To be eligible for this program, it is required that you have an ongoing internship agreement through a recognized university or school for the entire duration of the program.
**What you can expect**:
- Manage supplier invoice processes including Tax and verification of Platform.sh entity billing, as well as approval flow verification
- Record entries and bills in our ERP (Netsuite), to prepare supplier payments while monitoring due dates
- Monitor bank activities related to supplier payments and perform reconciliation in Netsuite
- Handle supplier reminders AP reconciliation
- Conduct phone calls with french suppliers
- Create and maintain vendors records in Netsuite
- Archive accounting documents either physically or virtually (on Google Drive)
- Provide support in Accounting, specifically in accordance to French GAAP
- Undertake additional tasks and assignments as required by the business
**What you bring**:
- **BTS or Bac+2 in Accounting - French GAAP.**:
- **Fluent in French** and looking to improve English skills.
- Some knowledge or ideally previous experience of an ERP
- Proficient Gsuite/Microsoft Office Suite knowledge
- Good interpersonal, customer service and communication skills to collaborate with internal teams and third parties
- Highly organized to manage multiple tasks.
- Pragmatism and detail orientated to be accurate and precise in the information you will manage.
- Ability to work autonomously.

**This is a hybrid role. Work from our offices in Paris and remotely.**:

To maximize team collaboration with the Finance and Administration teams, you would be expected to come to our Paris office, at least 2 to 3 times a week.
