About the Role

As an Account Executive Mid Market for Alma, you will play a crucial role in expanding our customer base and contributing directly to our sales success in the Belgium market. You will be responsible for managing the entire sales cycle of new Mid-Market accounts, from prospecting and leads qualification to negotiation and contract signature. Your primary focus will be on engaging with C-Level Executives and representing Alma at trade shows and conferences in BENELUX and Europe.

Main Responsibilities

  • Managing the entire sales cycle of new Mid-Market accounts, including prospecting, leads qualification, negotiation, and contract signature.
  • Engaging with C-Level Executives and building strong relationships with key decision-makers.
  • Representing Alma at trade shows and conferences in BENELUX and Europe.
  • Contributing to the optimization of internal processes to support Alma's scalability.
  • Optimizing Alma's take rate of activated merchants.
  • Organizing and tracking sales activities via CRM.

About You

We are looking for a highly motivated and experienced sales professional with a strong track record in selling B2B software solutions. You should have excellent communication skills, commercial skills, and a strong analytical mindset. You should be at ease in managing the entire sales cycle, in negotiation & closing discussions, and have a high level of accountability and methodical progression to ensure follow-ups with prospects until closure.

Requirements

  • Between 1 and 4 years of relevant experience in similar functions (internships & apprenticeships excluded).
  • Fluency in both French, English, and Flemish are mandatory.
  • Excellent communication skills.
  • Commercial skills: you are at ease in managing the entire sales cycle, in negotiation & closing discussions.
  • Strong analytical mindset.
  • Autonomous, curious and proactive.
  • At ease in a very fast-paced environment.
  • Well organised and structured.
