The Role

We are seeking a Channel Partner Sales Manager to oversee the France region and play a vital role in our EMEA Channel Sales organization. This individual will be responsible for formulating, driving, and implementing strategic partner sales initiatives with key Telco Carriers, VARs, and SIs.

Key Responsibilities

  • Formulate and implement the Channel sales strategy to recruit, enable, and develop targeted resellers, service providers, and other organizations.
  • Concentrate on identifying and cultivating new enterprise accounts through managed partners.
  • Define and execute business plans, including Quarterly Business Reviews, to enhance our engagement with partners.
  • Support managed partners in converting prospects into sales by differentiating our offerings from competitors.
  • Take ownership of selected sales opportunities from identification through to closure.
  • Assist in driving pipeline development, sales qualification, and business closure.
  • Achieve NARR (New and Recurring Revenue) quotas and meet partner DR (Deal Registration) targets.
  • Engage regularly with customers, partner principals, executives, and sales management teams.
  • Conduct ongoing sales training presentations with partner sales teams to ensure they can effectively communicate Proofpoint's value proposition.
  • Collaborate with the Channel Marketing Team to implement marketing initiatives with key partners, ensuring activities align with successful ROI.

Qualifications

  • Proven experience as a Channel Manager with a successful track record.
  • Familiarity with the security market and technologies, along with current knowledge of industry trends, technical advancements, and regulatory factors affecting the target market.
  • Exceptional presentation skills and the ability to lead discussions with customers to advance the sales process.
  • Capability to coordinate account teams and establish strategies and tactics involving field and inside sales, systems engineering, and sales management.
  • Experience in developing and presenting plans and activities to various management levels.
  • Ability to elevate partner status, advancing partners to higher levels of commitment.
  • Proficiency in training partners to identify target accounts and opportunities.
  • Strong attention to detail, with a focus on accurate forecasting and reporting.
  • Experience in contract negotiation is preferred.
  • Fluency in French and English is essential.
