Role Overview

The Key Account Manager will deliver a benchmarking intelligence platform, services, and content to designated OEMs and/or Suppliers.

Key Responsibilities

  • Drive recognition and revenue growth for A2MAC1 through strategic, long-term partnerships with both new and existing clients.
  • Manage the sales process with a focus on establishing enduring relationships that align with the company's organic growth objectives.
  • Assess customer requirements and articulate how A2MAC1's product features fulfill those needs, emphasizing the added value provided.
  • Maintain and cultivate relationships with customer contacts, employing creativity and resources to eliminate barriers to customer satisfaction.
  • Conduct thorough market analysis of the automotive sector, tracking OEM sales volumes and understanding the profitability of leading component manufacturers to identify potential clients and enhance sales with current customers.
  • Proactively anticipate customer needs, address feedback and objections, and shape customer perceptions of value, while fostering relationships with key decision-makers through tactful and diplomatic negotiations.
  • Collaborate with Engagement Managers, Technical Account Managers, and Product Managers to promote value propositions to clients.
  • Achieve success in securing sales contracts and managing related activities, ensuring seamless coordination of pre-sales, sales, and customer service issues.
  • Work alongside internal departments, including Accounting, to manage the complete contract lifecycle from RFI to cash collection.

Qualifications

Professional Background

  • Bachelor's degree in Automobile Industry, Mechanical Engineering, or equivalent experience.
  • A minimum of 10 years of experience in Sales or Customer Service within the automotive sector.
  • Proficiency in English, both written and spoken.
  • Familiarity with technologies related to automotive products is advantageous.

Skills & Abilities

  • In-depth knowledge of automotive products and service offerings, with a strong understanding of the XaaS model, enabling effective collaboration with customers to drive growth.
  • Comprehensive understanding of the company's sales strategy, competitive landscape, and industry dynamics, with the ability to develop insights into assigned accounts and their business challenges.
  • Ability to work independently and collaboratively, serving as a resource for less experienced team members.
  • Strong influencing skills to guide purchasing decisions with tact and diplomacy.
