ESRF is a leading international research institute dedicated to advancing scientific knowledge through the use of synchrotron radiation. We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced Business Development Engineer to join our team and play a crucial role in driving innovation within the nanotechnology sector.
Your Responsibilities
- Develop and implement a comprehensive business development strategy for nanotechnology, encompassing market research, competitive analysis, and go-to-market planning.
- Promote ESRF's cutting-edge nanotechnology solutions to industrial partners, fostering collaborations and driving technology adoption.
- Identify and cultivate high-potential industrial relationships within the nanotechnology ecosystem, building a strong network of stakeholders.
- Organize events, workshops, and conferences to showcase ESRF's capabilities and engage with industry leaders.
- Collaborate with internal teams to ensure seamless integration of business development activities with research and innovation efforts.
Your Qualifications
- A Bachelor's or Master's degree in materials science, physics, chemistry, or a related field is required. An MBA or other relevant business degree would be highly advantageous.
- Demonstrated expertise in nanoscience and nanotechnology principles and applications.
- Strong understanding of the industrial landscape within the nanotechnology sector, including market trends, competitive dynamics, and emerging technologies.
- Proven experience in business development, sales, or marketing within a technical environment.
- Excellent communication, interpersonal, and presentation skills, with the ability to effectively engage with diverse audiences.
