African Industrial Chemicals Sales Lead

We are seeking an experienced sales professional to join our team as a Senior Sales Manager for industrial chemicals in Africa. This is a remote position based in Europe, with frequent travel required to meet with clients and stakeholders across the continent.
About the RoleIn this role, you will be responsible for driving sales growth and expansion in Africa by developing and executing targeted sales strategies. You will leverage your industry expertise and network to manage existing accounts, forge new partnerships, and implement initiatives that reflect commitment to excellence and growth.
You will oversee existing accounts, ensuring the delivery of high-quality service, technical support, and timely responses to customer inquiries. Additionally, you will collaborate with internal teams to expand the product portfolio based on regional market needs and conduct regular market analyses to identify emerging trends and competitor activities.

- Collaborate with internal teams to expand the product portfolio
- Conduct regular market analyses to identify emerging trends and competitor activities
To be successful in this role, you will need:
- Proven experience in international trading/sales, particularly in industrial chemicals
- Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, International trade, Finance, Economics, Chemical Engineering, or a related field; MBA or advanced degree preferred
- Proficiency in English; good knowledge in French is preferred, any additional languages can be an advantage
- In-depth knowledge of industrial chemicals, trading practices, and relevant regulatory frameworks
- Strong negotiation, communication, and relationship-building skills
- Analytical mindset with the ability to interpret market data, identify trends, and make strategic decisions
- Ability to excel in a fast-paced, dynamic, multinational environment and adapt to changing market conditions
A competitive salary package estimated at €60,000 - €80,000 per annum, depending on experience, plus benefits including:
