Job Summary

Guardant Health is seeking a highly skilled Associate Director, Business Development-France Based to join our BioPharma Business Development team. As a key member of our team, you will play a critical role in growing our Biopharma business by developing and maintaining existing customer relationships, building new customer connections, and supporting the development of new accounts.

Key Responsibilities
  1. Develop and execute business development strategies to drive growth and revenue in the Biopharma segment.
  2. Build and maintain strong relationships with key stakeholders, including drug development companies, biomarker researchers, and clinical development teams.
  3. Identify and pursue new business opportunities, including companion diagnostic partnerships and clinical trial services.
  4. Collaborate with internal teams to address customer needs, solve problems, and deliver an outstanding customer experience.
  5. Develop and execute strategies to expand existing transactional business to more fully integrated partnerships across Guardant's suite of capabilities.
  6. Partner closely with the EU commercial team to leverage synergies between the clinical and biopharma business segments.
Requirements
  • 8-10 years of experience in business development, sales, and/or consulting, with a focus on biopharma, diagnostics, CROs, or related life sciences areas.
  • Strong knowledge of sequencing technologies, oncology, companion diagnostics, and requirements to support global clinical trials.
  • Experience working in the European clinical diagnostics market, including regulatory and reimbursement landscape.
  • Excellent communication, problem-solving, and analytical skills, with the ability to influence and shape opinions.
  • BA/BS scientific and/or business degree, with an advanced degree (M.B.A.) highly desired.
