We are currently seeking a dedicated professional to join our team as a Thermal Solutions Engineering Lead.
Position Summary: In the role of Thermal Solutions Engineering Lead, you will deliver technical assistance and training to both clients and the sales team regarding thermal products and solutions. Your primary responsibility will be to develop competitive and technically sound applications for thermal products that address customer needs when standard offerings are insufficient. Collaboration with consultants to grasp their requirements and jointly create effective solutions will also be a key aspect of your role.
Key Responsibilities: As an integral member of our team, your duties will include:
- Leading a team of up to 10 Application Engineers, ensuring they achieve their objectives while adhering to all relevant policies and regulations.
- Contributing to marketing and business development efforts by providing insights for whitepapers and other communication channels.
- Collaborating with various stakeholders to prioritize activities effectively.
- Reviewing requests for quotations (RFQs) and identifying customer specifications and requirements.
- Offering sales and pre-sales support through technical guidance on product specifications and applications.
- Participating in customer meetings alongside the sales manager as a technical authority.
- Developing product and application presentations tailored for clients and consultants.
- Regularly engaging with consultants to foster relationships and collaboratively devise effective solutions.
Qualifications for Success: To excel in this role, you should possess:
- Educational Background: A degree in engineering or a related field, complemented by substantial field experience.
- Relevant Experience: Extensive background in line-of-business products and installations, particularly within data centers or similar environments.
- Proven experience in adjacent markets and similar roles.
- Language Proficiency: Fluent in English, both written and spoken; proficiency in a second language relevant to the team is advantageous.
- Experience in quoting, proposing, installing, and managing projects.
- Proficiency in utilizing C1 and Oracle Sales Cloud.
- Familiarity with AutoCAD or comparable CAD software.
- A strong focus on understanding and addressing customer needs.
