Position Overview
We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced Research Administration and Policy Lead to join our dynamic team. Reporting directly to the President's office, you will play a pivotal role in shaping and executing the university's research strategy.
Key Responsibilities
- Provide strategic guidance and operational support to the President's team on all matters related to research agreements and institutional partnerships.
- Collaborate with the Legal and Institutional Affairs Department to ensure the smooth functioning of the Research Commission within the Academic Council.
- Contribute significantly to the development and implementation of the university's research & innovation budget, ensuring alignment with strategic objectives.
- Develop and implement innovative policies and incentives to foster a thriving research environment across all disciplines.
- Conduct in-depth analysis of research performance indicators and dashboards, providing insightful reports and recommendations to senior leadership.
- Represent DiReV (Direction de la Recherche et de l'Innovation) in internal and external forums dedicated to research administration.
- Lead and inspire a team of professionals, fostering a collaborative and results-oriented culture.
- Oversee the administration of digital services dedicated to research administration, working closely with the Information Systems Department to enhance research activities.
Qualifications
- Deep understanding of research policy, objectives, and projects within higher education and research institutions.
- Comprehensive knowledge of scientific research activities conducted by university research structures.
- Proven expertise in administrative, budgetary, and financial management practices within a public institution.
- Strong familiarity with the organization and functioning of higher education, public research, and research structures.
- Excellent command of English (B2 to C1 level).
