About the Role:

New Balance is seeking a skilled Sales Representative to join our team. As a Sales Representative, you will be responsible for developing long-term relationships with accounts in the territory, maximizing all footwear and apparel sales targets, and assisting accounts in growing their business with New Balance.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Sell In
    • Ensure qualitative follow-up and relationships with accounts
    • Achieve or exceed all footwear and apparel territory sales targets
    • Operate within AM minimum standards and deliver professional customer-focused sales standards
  • Sell Through
    • Analyze sales and margin performance versus targets
    • Work closely with marketing contact to ensure effective co-op marketing activity
    • Obtain weekly sell-through data from accounts and act on the data provided
  • Communication
    • Provide structured customer/account feedback to the Sales Manager and Product team
    • Communicate effectively to accounts about New Balance's beliefs, values, objectives, and policies
  • Efficiency
    • Produce sales forecasts for priority accounts by style, by month
    • Work closely with Customer Service teams to ensure service levels to accounts are maximized

Requirements for Success:

  • Full, clean driving license
  • Account management experience
  • Sales forecasting and planning skills with numerical reasoning and analytical ability
  • Good knowledge of and passion for the sports and lifestyle market
