About the Role:
New Balance is seeking a skilled Sales Representative to join our team. As a Sales Representative, you will be responsible for developing long-term relationships with accounts in the territory, maximizing all footwear and apparel sales targets, and assisting accounts in growing their business with New Balance.
Key Responsibilities:
- Sell In
- Ensure qualitative follow-up and relationships with accounts
- Achieve or exceed all footwear and apparel territory sales targets
- Operate within AM minimum standards and deliver professional customer-focused sales standards
- Sell Through
- Analyze sales and margin performance versus targets
- Work closely with marketing contact to ensure effective co-op marketing activity
- Obtain weekly sell-through data from accounts and act on the data provided
- Communication
- Provide structured customer/account feedback to the Sales Manager and Product team
- Communicate effectively to accounts about New Balance's beliefs, values, objectives, and policies
- Efficiency
- Produce sales forecasts for priority accounts by style, by month
- Work closely with Customer Service teams to ensure service levels to accounts are maximized
Requirements for Success:
- Full, clean driving license
- Account management experience
- Sales forecasting and planning skills with numerical reasoning and analytical ability
- Good knowledge of and passion for the sports and lifestyle market
