Key Responsibilities
  1. Strategic Account Planning: Develop and execute plans to drive upsell and cross-sell opportunities with existing customers in the DACH region. Analyze customer needs and provide accurate forecasting for revenue growth.
  2. Risk Management: Identify and mitigate risks to ensure customer success and revenue growth.
  3. Network Building: Establish strong relationships with customers, GitHub, and Microsoft to drive business outcomes.
  4. Collaboration and Influence: Work with cross-functional teams to build consensus and drive agreed-upon outcomes.
  5. Product Expertise: Develop in-depth knowledge of GitHub's products and solutions to counsel customers on best practices and drive business value.
  6. Communication and Presentation: Effectively present strategic ideas and solutions to customers and stakeholders.
  7. Deal Process and Objection Handling: Map customer buying processes, identify deal stakeholders, and drive deal momentum to close.
  8. Team Collaboration: Work closely with Solutions Engineering to drive sales and pre-sales alignment.
Requirements
  1. 5-10 years of successful enterprise software sales experience
  2. Strong customer orientation, dedication, and passion for delivering exceptional customer experiences

  4. Strong presentation and communication skills
  5. Collaborative and team-oriented mindset
  6. English and German language skills required; additional languages beneficial
