The Team:

The role of Senior Value Consultant serves as a key advisor, assisting clients in achieving their strategic objectives and realizing substantial value through the Celonis Process Intelligence Platform. This position encompasses the entire value journey of our clients – from initial engagement to expansion, adoption, and renewal. Key responsibilities include translating client goals into value assessments or proof-of-concept initiatives, developing tailored Celonis business cases and demonstrations, facilitating value workshops, and collaborating with senior stakeholders to deliver impactful results and establish enduring partnerships.

The Role:

As a Senior Value Consultant , you will lead our efforts in driving data-centric business transformation alongside our clients. You will collaborate closely with the Celonis Sales Team, taking full ownership of the customer value journey. Acting as a trusted advisor, you will guide clients in achieving their strategic aims and unlocking significant value through the Celonis Process Intelligence Platform. In partnership with our collaborators and Celonis Services, you will generate measurable business outcomes across diverse processes and sectors, accelerating platform adoption. Your role will combine extensive process and industry knowledge with a robust consulting skill set and strong analytical capabilities, positioning you at the forefront of one of the most rapidly expanding technology firms worldwide.

Key Responsibilities:

Identify & Define Value

  • Uncover and articulate clients' strategic priorities into impactful Celonis use cases
  • Create demonstrations and business cases, utilizing industry benchmarks and best practices to attract new clients
  • Conduct Value Assessments or Proof-of-Concept Projects and convey the value potential and strategic roadmap to executive leadership

Deliver Value

  • Lead business value workshops and leverage Celonis to pinpoint and validate opportunities for process enhancement
  • Identify improvement measures in core business functions and initiate enterprise-wide change initiatives
  • Present outcomes and realized value to senior management and executive teams

Amplify Value

  • Oversee the complete customer value journey, including landing, expanding, adoption, and renewal phases
  • Develop a strategic expansion roadmap for clients, embedding Celonis Process Intelligence as a pivotal business transformation platform within their organization, thereby driving adoption and growth
  • Provide insights to our product development teams to refine the Celonis platform and applications based on emerging use cases

Required Qualifications:

Experience: A minimum of 12 years in relevant pre-sales, customer success, strategy consulting, or related industry experience is essential.

Commitment to Customer Value: Proven experience in an analytical capacity aimed at demonstrating or securing value through business data analysis, process improvement, and software deployment. Ideally, this experience should be in a customer-facing role within Solution Consulting, Sales Engineering, or IT/Management Consulting with a Business Software/SaaS Provider or Consultancy. Alternatively, experience in an in-house role (e.g., Center of Excellence for Data Mining/Analytics/Intelligence) within a large enterprise is acceptable.

Data, Analytics, Applications & IT: Strong familiarity with Business Software/SaaS applications (e.g., SAP), experience in implementing RPA and/or BI Tools, and/or developing Dashboards, Applications, and Action Flows. Proficiency in Python and/or SQL is advantageous, along with experience collaborating with IT teams.

Process Improvement & Value Realization: Demonstrated experience in identifying use cases for business process enhancement and executing improvement measures, acting as a change agent, and training users/process owners to achieve value.

Project Management: Proven ability to plan and manage project scopes, expectations, and timelines. You will oversee multiple projects across your assigned accounts, each at different stages of the value journey, while leveraging partners from the Celonis Ecosystem whenever feasible.

Executive Stakeholder Management: Experience in preparing and communicating (value) roadmaps and results to stakeholders and management, both internally and externally. Exceptional communication and presentation skills in both French and English are required, along with a confident demeanor.

Business Domain Expertise: A solid understanding of the Finance and/or Supply Chain domain, as well as strategic transformation initiatives (e.g., Shared Services Transformation or System Transformation).

Industry Expertise: Ideally, expertise in one or more industries (e.g., Manufacturing, Automotive, Consumer, Retail, Pharmaceuticals, Chemicals) and the ability to develop a deep understanding of industry trends and strategic opportunities.

Educational Background: A degree in Technology & Management, Industrial/Business Engineering, Business Informatics, Computer Science, Mathematics, Economics, or a comparable field is required.
