Global Marketing Manager for Active Ingredients

We provide a diverse and innovative selection of premium active ingredients with established effectiveness in areas such as anti-aging, anti-pollution, skin soothing, brightening, bronzing, and firming, along with cooling and warming agents, moisturizers, and solutions for oily skin.
Our commitment is to demonstrate efficacy through our extensive experience in pioneering Research & Development, utilizing advanced screening and analytical techniques, and implementing a thorough program of in vitro, ex-vivo, and definitive clinical testing. We cater to the cosmetic industry's demand for state-of-the-art, effective, and substantiated ingredients that truly impact consumers. Our Scientific Advisory Board, comprising leading international dermatologists and scientists, guides Symrise in the creation of new ingredients.
The majority of our active ingredients are globally recognized, patented, and derived from natural sources. Our offerings are highly adaptable, safe, and formulated to harmonize with the natural chemistry of skin and hair.
Role Overview
As a Global Business Marketing Manager for Active Ingredients, you will work closely with product management to gain an in-depth understanding of our Business Unit's specific market segments. Utilizing this insight, you will modify global strategic marketing initiatives to create compelling narratives that resonate with our Business Unit's target demographics. Your responsibilities will include developing tailored promotional strategies for each Business Unit and product category, ensuring alignment with our overarching brand identity.

Promotional Initiatives:
Craft engaging narratives that emphasize the unique selling propositions of products, translating product technology into consumer benefits. Oversee the implementation of global promotional materials with external graphic designers, ensuring adherence to our branding standards. Generate innovative concepts to support product launches and promotional campaigns. Collaborate with Business Unit Leaders, Category Managers, and Product Managers to synchronize content development with the communication media strategy.Marketing Initiatives:
Perform market research and analysis to comprehend market trends, identify unmet customer demands, and provide insights with the assistance of CMI & Strategic Marketing. Manage and continuously refresh the category/product competitive analysis at the Business Unit level, sharing insights with Global Strategic Marketing to create a cohesive competitive perspective.Candidate Profile:
The ideal candidate will possess a higher education degree with several years of experience in the beauty sector, focusing on brand and marketing management. Proficiency in English, both written and spoken, is essential, along with strong communication and presentation abilities. They should excel at converting technical information into captivating content using storytelling methods.
Experience in managing multiple projects concurrently, creating innovative marketing campaigns for varied global audiences, and a strong interest in trends and new ingredients, particularly Actives, is required. The candidate must be a strategic thinker dedicated to problem-solving and advancing projects. Excellent teamwork skills and the ability to collaborate in multicultural settings are crucial.
A passion for beauty, exceptional business acumen, and a proactive, organized, and adaptable mindset are necessary. Proficiency in market research methodologies, marketing tools, MS Office, and Adobe Suite is expected. Willingness to travel as necessary is also required.
