Our Scientific Advisory Board, comprising leading international dermatologists and scientists, supports Symrise's initiatives in developing new ingredients.

Role Overview:

As a Global Business Marketing Manager for Active Ingredients, you will work closely with product management to gain a thorough understanding of our Business Unit's specific market segments. Utilizing this insight, you will tailor global strategic marketing plans to create compelling narratives that resonate with our Business Unit's target audiences. Your responsibilities will include developing customized promotional strategies for each Business Unit and product category, ensuring alignment with our global brand identity.

Key Responsibilities:

Promotional Activities:

  • Craft engaging narratives to emphasize the unique selling propositions of products, translating product technology into customer benefits.
  • Oversee the implementation of global promotional tools in collaboration with external graphic designers, ensuring adherence to our branding guidelines.
  • Generate innovative concepts to support product launches and promotional initiatives.
  • Collaborate with Business Unit Heads, Category Managers, and Product Managers to synchronize content development with the communication media plan.

Marketing Activities:

  • Conduct market research and analysis to comprehend market trends, identify unmet customer needs, and provide insights with the assistance of CMI & Strategic Marketing.
  • Manage and continuously update the category/product competition analysis at the Business Unit level, sharing insights with Global Strategic Marketing to create a cohesive competitive overview.

Candidate Profile:

The ideal candidate will possess a higher education degree and several years of experience in the beauty industry, with a focus on brand and marketing management. Proficiency in English, both written and spoken, is essential, along with strong communication and presentation skills. The candidate should excel at transforming technical information into engaging content through storytelling techniques.

Experience in managing multiple projects concurrently, developing innovative marketing campaigns for diverse global audiences, and a keen interest in trends and new ingredients, particularly Actives, is required. The candidate must be a strategic thinker committed to problem-solving and advancing projects. Strong teamwork skills and the ability to collaborate in multicultural environments are crucial.

A passion for beauty, exceptional business acumen, and a proactive, organized, and adaptable approach are necessary. Proficiency in market research methodologies, marketing tools, MS Office, and Adobe Suite is expected. Willingness to travel as required is also essential.
