Role Overview:

The Account Manager is responsible for overseeing the sales and implementation of Tereos products in non-food sectors, including Paper, Corrugated Board, and Green Chemistry. This role entails providing technical assistance to clients, particularly in the area of Paper and Corrugated Board production.

Geographic Focus: Northern France

Key Responsibilities:

Business Management:

  • Cultivate, sustain, and expand business relationships.
  • Negotiate pricing, volumes, and terms with current and prospective clients.
  • Offer technical guidance to clients, especially regarding Corrugated Board production.
  • Lead and support technical implementations at client sites.
  • Actively promote and introduce innovative products to existing and potential clients.
  • Maintain comprehensive knowledge of the customer portfolio.
  • Collaborate with internal teams, including quality and supply chain, to ensure optimal customer satisfaction.
  • Execute the company's commercial strategy and policies.

Sales Process Management:

  • Develop and manage sales contracts administratively.
  • Oversee reporting, sales forecasting, customer acquisition, and contract terms.
  • Conduct client visits and provide updates to stakeholders.

Customer Portfolio Development:

  • Analyze and optimize sales opportunities within the market.
  • Foster and maintain strategic relationships with key customers.

Market Analysis:

  • Collect and consolidate market intelligence.
  • Evaluate competitive products based on features and functionalities.
  • Gather relevant business and market intelligence to inform decision-making.
  • Formulate strategies for market penetration and development.

General Responsibilities:

  • Adhere to company policies and procedures in all tasks.
  • Contribute to a collaborative team environment through active participation in team activities.
  • Support continuous improvement initiatives through direct involvement or leadership.

Candidate Profile:

  • Degree in Engineering or a related technical field.
  • Minimum of 5 years of experience, preferably with expertise in corrugated board production.
  • Proficient in both French and English.
  • Skilled in Microsoft Office tools (Word, Excel, PowerPoint).
  • Exceptional written and verbal communication abilities.
  • Strong analytical and structured approach to work.
  • Results-driven with excellent persuasion and teamwork skills.
  • Capable of influencing cross-functional teams without formal authority.
  • Ability to work independently.
  • Willingness to travel frequently for client and plant visits.
