Sales and Growth Director

At RIDE, we are seeking a highly experienced and skilled Head of Sales to lead our Sales department and drive the growth of our business. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in sales, business development, and team management, with a proven track record of success in the space industry.
Key Responsibilities:- Develop and execute a sales strategy that aligns with RIDE's business goals and objectives.
- Manage a team of sales professionals and provide guidance and support to ensure they meet their sales targets.
- Build and maintain relationships with key stakeholders, including satellite operators, launchers, and manufacturers.
- Identify and pursue new business opportunities, including launch services and launch opportunities.
- Manage bids for both commercial and institutional launches.
- Develop closing strategies and work with the Launch Mission department to secure launch opportunities.
The Head of Sales will play a critical role in driving the growth of RIDE's business and will be responsible for enhancing the company's revenue and optimizing the business strategy. The ideal candidate will have a strong understanding of the space industry, including the satellite and launch markets, and will be able to build and maintain relationships with key stakeholders.
Requirements:- 5 to 10 years of experience in sales, business development, and team management.
- At least 1 experience related to space launches (sales of services or systems closely associated with a space launch).
- A well-developed network in the space industry, including launchers, satellite operators, and satellite manufacturers.
- Previous experience in team management.
- Able to accommodate a ±3-hour time difference.
- Proficiency in English (mandatory).
- Knowledge of French is a plus.
