Job Title: Deux Chiefs de Service de Police Municipale - Responsables d'Unité

Job Summary:

Ville de Besançon is seeking two experienced professionals to fill the positions of Chiefs of Service of Police Municipale - Unit Leaders. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for managing the administrative and operational aspects of your unit, ensuring the smooth execution of daily tasks and activities.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Manage the administrative and operational aspects of your unit, including planning, personnel management, and resource allocation.
  • Develop and implement performance metrics and dashboards to monitor unit performance.
  • Provide written responses to correspondence and emails from citizens.
  • Enforce parking and traffic regulations in your designated area.
  • Organize and conduct traffic checks and speed enforcement in your area.
  • Ensure compliance with municipal regulations and ordinances.
  • Conduct pedestrian surveillance and patrols in your area.
  • Monitor and enforce regulations related to public events and gatherings.
  • Develop and implement security plans for public events and festivals.
  • Monitor and enforce regulations related to public transportation and school zones.
  • Develop and implement educational programs for schools and educational institutions.
  • Build and maintain relationships with the local community.
  • Manage the surveillance of municipal buildings, parks, and gardens.
  • Participate in weekly on-call shifts to provide support and guidance.
  • Conduct video verbalizations as needed.

Requirements:

  • Proven management skills and experience.
  • Strong knowledge of regulatory and legal frameworks related to municipal police services.
  • Proficiency in office software and tools.
  • Ability to manage high-pressure situations and conflicts.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
  • Ability to think critically and develop innovative solutions.
  • Strong interpersonal and leadership skills.
