Here is what you need to know about the job:
Main tasks
- Propose products and ways to promote ideas and solutions for our existing and future customers.
- Anticipate and prepare for customer untold requirements and provide options for consideration.
- Ensure coordination between the back offices based in Europe or China and the various departments of our customers (development, quality, logistics).
- Support the Sales team with technical solutions and attend customer meetings and briefings when required
- Following the entire process of the project development such as:
o Managing briefs from the customer to our engineering / back office

o Managing the costs & schedules

o Offering technical proposals

o Ensuring quality control of the production Achievements of operational objectives
- To demonstrate an understanding of the customers business and the challenges that they face, by ensuring the clients’ requirements are met in terms of effective solutions/ideas, timing, budget and quality.
- To objectively balance the commercial interests, as well as those of the client’s interest.
- To facilitate technical solutions, by making the most of the incumbent’s technical input and by coordinating information with the Europe and Asia-based development offices and clients.

Technical understanding
- Understand customer needs behind the brief
- Be creative in finding solutions and preparing alternative ideas to demonstrate our capabilities as a group.

Interpret and translate the commercial understanding into technical solutions
- Analyse, synthetize and sell technical solutions
- Assist in the evaluation and technical conception: construction proposals
- Challenge factory proposals till they match customer brief
- Understand the local industry constraints
- Read and understand technical drawings
- Master the production and finishing process
- Understand customer technical and packing specifications
- Understand quality standards
- Make sure the factory costs are aligned with the technical proposal and with customer specifications
- Manage planning construction
- Manage production flow chart

Any reasonable additional duties as requested or delegated by the line manager

Education and Experience
- Engineering school/university background required
- At least 3 years of experience in manufacturing industry (POS BEAUTY, W&S )
- Having technical knowledge of multi-materials

Preferred Criteria
- Have an effective communication on relevant projects to superiors and peers in other practices
