The Amazon Business team is committed to creating solutions that simplify procurement for businesses. Managed Spend Strategists play a crucial role in our team, focusing on qualifying and pursuing Managed Spend opportunities for our key clients.
In this capacity, you will collaborate with various AB functions, including Customer Advisors, Product, Legal, Operations, Finance, and Sourcing teams. You will oversee a pipeline of complex opportunities, facilitating cross-functional reviews to determine pursue/not pursue decisions.
Following this, you will assist in crafting compelling responses for the opportunities we choose to pursue and secure leadership approval.
Your responsibilities will also include monitoring and reporting on progress, which involves delivering both oral and written presentations to AB's senior leadership.
Key Responsibilities:
- Lead workflows to qualify and pursue Managed Spend opportunities.
- Develop and execute proposal plans while collaborating with key internal stakeholders.
- Serve as a thought leader in preparing deal responses, win themes, and pricing strategies.
- Engage with customers and internal stakeholders across multiple EU countries.
- Optimize existing processes and create new scalable mechanisms based on customer feedback.
- Educate Customer Advisors on best practices for identifying large-scale opportunities.
- Build and maintain a library of approved proposal content.
Basic Qualifications:
- Experience in positioning and selling innovative solutions to customers.
- Proficiency with Microsoft Office applications.
- Familiarity with sales CRM tools such as Salesforce.
- Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience.
Preferred Qualifications:
- Knowledge of procurement and source-to-pay processes.
- Experience in identifying trends to enhance large-scale technology deals.
- Background in B2B or enterprise sales with a focus on new business development.
