Director of Power

We are seeking an accomplished and forward-thinking leader to spearhead our Power Business Unit. Leveraging the valuable insights gained from acquiring COR-e, a leading European power market data provider, we aim to expand our expertise in energy trends and offer cutting-edge intelligence across industries.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Drive Commercial Success: With full P&L responsibility, you will harness power data to drive growth, oversee pre-sales, and manage a team of market analysts to ensure high-quality data delivery and exceptional client satisfaction.
  • Collaborate on Product Roadmap: Partner with stakeholders to define and drive product development, ensuring seamless integration across teams and delivering innovative solutions that align with market needs to advance commercial growth.
  • Influence Industry Trends: As a thought leader in the Power space, identify key trends, emerging opportunities, and product innovations that go beyond traditional market expertise, leveraging your established industry persona.
  • Lead High-Performing Team: Guide and develop a talented team, ensuring alignment with business objectives and continued commercial growth.
  • Develop Marketing Strategy: Provide insights for product commercialization and contribute to overall success in the Power sector, building detailed personas and gaining a deep understanding of key markets to inform sales and marketing efforts.
  • Build Industry Relationships: Establish strong connections by attending industry events, presenting insights and solutions in client briefings, conferences, and seminars to elevate market presence.
Qualifications:
  • Minimum 10 years of experience within the Power or energy transition sectors.
  • Demonstrated leadership and management experience, including overseeing teams, driving projects, and mentoring within the power or energy transition sectors.
  • Demonstrated experience in building analytical models for power markets (e.g., supply & demand, pricing, risk management).
  • Exceptional analytical skills with the ability to work with complex data and databases to identify trends and inform decisions.
  • Entrepreneurial mindset with a self-starter attitude.
  • Effective at problem-solving and ability to multitask in a dynamic environment.
  • A collaborative team player, quick learner, and comfortable working with tight deadlines on multiple tasks.
  • Skilled communicator with excellent interpersonal skills.
  • Native or bilingual proficiency in English.
Estimated Salary Range:

$120,000 - $180,000 per annum, depending on experience and qualifications.
