Job Summary:
As a key member of the BioPharma Business Development team at Guardant Health, you will play a critical role in driving business growth and expanding our presence in the European clinical diagnostics market. Your primary responsibility will be to develop and maintain strong relationships with existing customers, while also identifying and pursuing new business opportunities.
Key Responsibilities:
- Develop and execute business strategies to drive growth and revenue expansion in the European clinical diagnostics market.
- Build and maintain strong relationships with key stakeholders, including drug development companies, biomarker researchers, and clinical development teams.
- Identify and pursue new business opportunities, including partnerships and collaborations with biopharma companies.
- Work closely with internal teams, including Research Operations, Alliance Management, Bioinformatics, Quality, Medical Affairs, Legal, and Finance, to ensure seamless execution of business strategies.
- Develop and maintain a deep understanding of the European clinical diagnostics market, including regulatory and reimbursement landscapes.
- Collaborate with the EU commercial team to leverage synergies between the clinical and biopharma business segments.
- Articulately communicate Guardant's global value proposition to biopharma partners and stakeholders.
Requirements:
- 8-10 years of experience in business development, sales, and/or consulting, with a strong background in biopharma, diagnostics, CROs, or related life sciences areas.
- Proven track record of driving business growth and revenue expansion in the European clinical diagnostics market.
- Strong knowledge of sequencing technologies and their applications in clinical diagnostics.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build and maintain strong relationships with key stakeholders.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team, with a strong focus on collaboration and problem-solving.
- BA/BS scientific and/or business degree, with an advanced degree (M.B.A.) highly desired.
