Position Overview:

As a key player in the Omnichannel Operational Marketing team, the Operational Marketing Manager is essential for executing Sephora's brand activations and strategic initiatives. This role involves crafting retail and digital marketing projects that engage customers and drive successful business outcomes.

Main Responsibilities:

Category Strategy:

  • Collaborate with the Offer team and digital marketing specialists to develop a comprehensive marketing strategy for the category.
  • Oversee significant merchandising transformations in partnership with the visual merchandising team.
  • Enhance category growth across European markets.

Development of Institutional Animations:

  • Assist in the creation of omnichannel animation concepts and manage their execution from initial brief to final delivery.
  • Prepare agency briefs and engage cross-functional teams (studio, digital, social media, CRM, Offer, merchandising, training, etc.) to implement innovative activation strategies.
  • Coordinate testing, order management, and production processes.
  • Compile and present meeting materials, summarize discussions, and develop studio briefs for both retail and digital platforms.
  • Lead the assembly of animation product assortments in collaboration with category managers.
  • Evaluate the effectiveness of activations and generate comprehensive reports with actionable insights.
  • Stay informed on market trends and innovations to continuously enhance our animation strategies.

Management of Institutional Projects:

  • Establish the marketing strategy for the category during non-peak periods.
  • Design and implement activation plans for institutional brand messaging across retail and digital channels.
  • Assess the deployment and outcomes of activations, producing detailed reports with recommendations for improvement.

Support for Regional Teams:

  • Act as the primary liaison for regional teams during the implementation of marketing animations.
  • Facilitate ongoing communication to provide support and gather feedback on animation execution.
  • Oversee local implementations and share insights and best practices across teams.

This role is pivotal in shaping Sephora's marketing landscape, driving engagement, and fostering a culture of excellence within the team.
