Front Desk Supervisor Job Description

At The Rimrock, we're committed to delivering exceptional hospitality experiences to our guests and employees alike. As a Front Desk Supervisor, you'll play a key role in ensuring seamless operations and outstanding guest satisfaction.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Welcome guests and visitors to the front lobby, recording their information and assigning rooms based on their needs.
  • Provide professional, courteous, and timely guest service that exceeds expectations.
  • Train new staff members and provide ongoing feedback to ensure they meet hotel standards.
  • Foster a positive team environment, supporting and coaching front office team members to achieve their best.
  • Coordinate solutions to guest issues, working with Housekeeping and service staff as needed.
  • Serve as the escalation point for guest concerns, handling issues promptly and professionally.
  • Collaborate with management to ensure smooth Front Office operations, problem-solving and reporting technical issues in a timely manner.
  • Arrange special requests, VIP accommodations, and distribute VIP lists to relevant departments.
  • Perform Guest Services Agent duties and other tasks assigned by management.
Qualifications:
  • 3 years of experience working at a hotel front desk.
  • 1 year of experience in a supervisory role.
  • Availability to work a flexible schedule.
  • Comfortable using Microsoft Outlook, Excel, and Word.
  • Experience with Opera is an asset.
  • Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
  • Organized and able to multitask effectively.
  • Proven leadership skills and a passion for coaching and developing a team.
