About the Role

The Key Account Manager will be responsible for developing, managing, and growing relationships with our value-added reseller (VAR) and distribution customers in the French territory.

This involves understanding Integral's strengths and key selling points to convey to customers, working with computer hardware and software solutions providers to understand their needs, and providing quotes and solutions for their end-user markets.

The ideal candidate will have strong relationship-building and communication skills, as well as a competitive team player who enjoys working in a collaborative environment. They will also have a track record of achieving targets and a strong commercial understanding of end-user requirements.

Main Responsibilities
  1. Understand and convey Integral's strengths and key selling points to customers.
  2. Work with computer hardware and software solutions providers to understand their needs and provide quotes and solutions.
  3. Develop, maintain, and grow relationships with customers to become a key partner and advisor.
  4. Be proactive in developing new business opportunities and identify key growth areas.
  5. Develop and implement sales plans and strategies to achieve growth targets.
  6. Understand business potential and set own targets for products and value.
  7. Plan to promote Integral benefits with customer needs.
  8. Prepare sales pitches and presentations and quote prices within company guidelines.
  9. Be an advisor on product and market trends.
  10. Proactively engage with customers through a mix of visits, phone, email, promotions, and mailshots.
  11. Utilize social media and LinkedIn to develop sales funnels and keep customers informed.
  12. Ensure high standards of customer service and attend sales and product training meetings and visits.
  13. Use CRM system to best effect.
Requirements
  • At least 3+ years of sales account management experience within or selling to a distribution or value-added reseller (VAR) business in the French market.
  • Experience of selling computer hardware products or services.
  • Driven sales professional with a desire to develop accounts and win business.
  • Effective relationship-building and communication skills.
  • Competitive team player who enjoys working in a collaborative environment.
  • Results-oriented with a track record of achieving targets.
  • Good negotiation skills.
  • Good social media and LinkedIn marketing knowledge.
  • Demonstrable ability to develop an understanding of technology products and their target customers.
  • Strong commercial understanding and knowledge of end-user requirements.
  • Excellent organisational, planning, and time management skills.
  • Self-motivated with a desire to succeed.
  • Strong Excel and PowerPoint skills.
  • Fluent French and English language skills (spoken and written).
