Role Overview:

The Account Manager is responsible for overseeing the sales and implementation of Tereos products in non-food sectors, including Paper, Corrugated Board, and Green Chemistry. This role entails providing technical assistance to clients, particularly in the area of Paper and Corrugated Board production.

Geographic Focus: Northern France

Work Arrangement: Flexible; options for home-based and/or office work.

Key Responsibilities:

Business Management:

Negotiate volumes, pricing, terms, and conditions with both existing and prospective clients within the designated area. Deliver technical support to clients, particularly in the production of Corrugated Board. Lead and facilitate technical implementations at client sites. Actively promote and introduce new products to current and potential clients. Maintain an in-depth understanding of the customer portfolio. Collaborate with internal teams, including quality and supply chain departments, to ensure optimal customer satisfaction. Execute the commercial strategy and policies of the organization.

Sales Process Management:

Create and manage the administrative aspects of sales contracts. Oversee reporting, sales forecasting, and market trends, as well as customer acquisition and prospecting data. Conduct client visits and provide updates to relevant stakeholders.

Customer Portfolio Development:

Analyze, expand, and optimize the sales portfolio based on market opportunities. Build and sustain strategic relationships with clients.

Market Analysis:

Collect and consolidate market data. Evaluate competitive products based on features and functionalities to assess market competition. Gather business and market intelligence to support informed decision-making. Formulate strategies for market penetration and development.

General Responsibilities:

Ensure adherence to company policies and regulations in all activities. Foster a collaborative team environment by actively participating in team activities and meetings. Support continuous improvement initiatives through active participation and leadership in related projects.

Candidate Profile:

Degree in Engineering or a related technical field. Minimum of 5 years of experience, preferably with a strong background in corrugated board production and technical expertise. Proficiency in both French and English. Competent in Microsoft Office tools (Word, Excel, PowerPoint). Exceptional written and verbal communication skills, capable of engaging with clients at all levels. Structured approach to work with strong analytical capabilities. Results-driven with persuasive abilities and a collaborative mindset. Ability to influence cross-functional teams without formal authority. Capacity to work independently. Willingness to travel frequently for client and plant visits (over 50% of the time).
