Director of Business Development (m/f/d) - France

Location: Paris, France

Your Role: As the Director of Business Development, you will spearhead client acquisition and foster enduring relationships with our prestigious clientele in the region. Your expertise in the IT-Service sector within the French market will be invaluable, enhancing our clients' experience and reinforcing Wipro's market position. The ideal candidate will possess strong commercial insight and an acute awareness of emerging trends and developments in the industry. Additionally, you will assess the market landscape, analyze client requirements, formulate business strategies, and drive the initiation and closure of business transactions.

Your Responsibilities:

  1. Primarily focus on acquiring new clients within the French Consumer Goods, Retail, and Logistics sectors.
  2. Enhance and expand existing client relationships.
  3. Conduct market analysis to identify new business and growth opportunities.
  4. Benchmark against competitors and provide comprehensive reporting and forecasting.
  5. Develop ramp-up plans and oversee the launch of new initiatives.
  6. Position Wipro as the preferred IT partner among key customers in the market.

Your Qualifications:

  1. Completed university degree.
  2. At least 7 years of experience, with a minimum of 5 years in a Sales Executive role within the IT sector.
  3. Experience managing large outsourcing projects in the IT-Service industry, particularly with France-based clients in the Retail, Manufacturing, or Consumer sectors.
  4. Demonstrated history of sales achievements.
  5. Project Management experience is essential.
  6. Willingness to travel as required.
  7. Strong communication skills and a collaborative mindset.
  8. Self-motivated and persuasive.
  9. Analytical and strategic thinking abilities.
  10. Goal-oriented with resilience.
  11. Fluent in both English and French.
  12. Well-connected at the CXO level within customer organizations in the French market.
